Nexus 5 Rumours Heating Up
The chatter on the net at the minute with regards to the eagerly anticipated, unacknowledged by Google, Nexus 5 are doing the rounds. The Nexus 5 rumours heating up of course is what we all come to expect in the tech community, with every new device, companies are becoming more and more protective about dishing out information before release, I guess Apple have pretty much lead the way in this, however, even the mighty Apple have problems keeping their cards close to their chest.
GFXBench have displayed some benchmarks on the Nexus 5, which are making it more and more clear as to what we can expect and if all the images that are doing the rounds are correct, it most certainly is looking like a beautiful device. A combination of the current Nexus 7 performance and the images of the Nexus 5 are looking very promising for the device. I know that the Nexus 4 met with a bit of criticism, however I can’t comment too much on that as I never used the Nexus 4 myself.
Some of the information displayed by the benchmarks, shows a Snapdragon 800 running Googles new anticipated KitKat operating system and a crisp display of 1080p. As for the results on the Nexus 5, the device scored quite well as you can see above on the chart. I really hope that what we have seen so far is a taste of things to come from the Nexus 5. As far as I am concerned the, more competition on the market the better for all of us as it will make the vendors push a little bit harder to produce a better device than the last, mind you having said all that, like I know what I am talking about, if you where to ask me what I thought the next super phone should have, I wouldn’t know where to start. I think the phones we are currently using far exceed anything I could have ever imagined using ten years ago.
